Love letter regulars’ table

Once a month, the Gruß & Kuss staff in Koblenz and Darmstadt meet with interested citizen researchers to read love letters together in a relaxed atmosphere. At each so called “Stammtisch”, a different exciting topic on love letter research is presented with selected love letters.
Next date: 30.04.2025
Location: University of Technology Darmstadt & University of Koblenz
Topic: jealousy
Note: Please use the registration form so that you can receive emails about room postponements or cancellations in good time. If there are too few registrations, individual regulars’ tables will unfortunately be cancelled. Please understand that the event will be held in German.
Transcribing love letters

In order to make love letters usable for science and society, the documents undergo a complex indexing and digitisation process. An important step in this process is transcription: the diplomatic typing of the love letters.
You can help with this and transcribe love letters at home on your PC without any pressure of witnessing.
Prerequisite: PC, Internet and the signing of the data protection agreement.
Please understand that the event will be held in German.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us or join us for a digital love letter consultation.
A list of events held so far can be found here.
